This year ALMUN will feature an ad hoc crisis committee. As an ad hoc committee, this committee will not release the background guide or character information for the committee until the first day of the conference. At the beginning of the first committee session, crisis delegates will be quickly briefed on the background of the crisis and their characters. Ad hoc committees provide a unique experience for delegates to think quickly and creatively to react to any situation presented in crisis.
Ethan is making his ALMUN debut as a freshman at UA. From Pensacola, FL, he is studying Civil Engineering with an interest in Urban Design and Development. In his spare time, Ethan enjoys traveling, eating fried okra, and playing tennis with his identical twin. Since this will be his first MUN experience, Ethan is eager to lead and learn from the delegates at this year's conference.

Zach is a freshman from Montgomery, Alabama. As of current, he is double majoring in General Business and English with hopes of going to law school. He participated in Model UN all four years of high school, including being on the travelling team. His hobbies include passionately talking/ranting about politics and social justice, as well as watching Netflix and going to Starbucks. He is very passionate about international relations and about how we are shaped by our global environment. Aside from being the Chair of Ad Hoc, he participates in the Southern Poverty Law Center chapter on campus, College Democrats, and the International Relations Club. He can’t wait to have fun at ALMUN!
THE NINTH ANNUAL ALABAMA MODEL UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE
Parker is a sophomore at the University of Alabama majoring in International Relations with a minor in Japanese. He enjoys Zaxby’s, showtunes, and making people laugh.
