STAR WARS: RISE OF THE RESISTANCE

Each of you will have a chance at changing America’s future, so it’s important to speak up for what your character believes in and do your best to get your agenda completed. I expect for this committee to reach the goal of electing an Illuminati-favored candidate for president–how we get there will be up to the decisions you make as a committee. In order to fully participate, each delegate should be familiar with their character’s general views and backgrounds, as well as the specific information that will be handed to you in the dossiers. Use this intel wisely, and you could end up at the top of the pyramid. I would say I can’t wait to see what happens, but the Illuminati knows all. Omnis vir enim sui!

Near the end of the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire suffered its final defeat against the New Republic during the Battle of Jakku. As a result, the Empire and the Republic signed a peace treaty called the Galactic Concordance, which mandated that they keep the peace with the Republic and remain within predetermined borders drawn on the Core Worlds and the Inner Rim. After the signing of the treaty, the Imperial starfleet disappeared into the Unknown Regions, where they quietly formed the First Order from the ashes of the Empire. Meanwhile, the Republic carried out the demilitarization of the New Republic Defense Fleet, cutting much of its military force in the interest of pursuing peace and preventing a galactic war from ever occurring again.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Background Guide

However, Senator Leia Organa disagreed heavily with these actions of demilitarization. In response, she found herself labeled as a warmonger. Eventually, her motives were questioned even more as her father was revealed: Darth Vader. Leia resigned from the Galactic Senate and moved to form her own Resistance in order to counter the growth of the newly established First Order.

Delegates will find themselves 34 years ABY (after the Battle of Yurin) with a growing Resistance. The First Order is gaining power as the Republic is doomed to fall. The Resistance must come together, recruit new members, and battle against a new enemy of the Galactic Universe in order to restore order and peace to the galaxy.
